Best Practices: Optimizing Your AI Context
To get the most accurate intent classifications from TrolleyShield, you need to provide the AI with the right context. Think of the AI as a highly capable but brand-new employee on their first day. It doesn't know your industry jargon, your ideal customer profile, or the purpose of your forms until you tell it.
The better your Business Context and Form Context, the more accurate your lead tracking, scoring, and filtering will be.
1. Mastering Business Context
Your Business Context should act as the ultimate cheat sheet for what your company does and who your ideal customer is.
Define the "Win" (High-Intent Indicators)
Don't just list your services. Tell the AI what a ready-to-buy customer sounds like.
- Poor: "We sell roofing."
- Better: "High-intent leads will ask for a quote, mention a leaking roof, or ask about our scheduling availability for inspections."
Translate Your Industry Jargon
The AI knows general English, but it might not know your specific industry acronyms or shorthand. If your customers use slang or abbreviations, list them.
Example: "Note: 'IMZ' stands for Immunization. 'PBM' stands for Pharmacy Benefit Manager. Treat inquiries about these as highly relevant."
Define the "Negative Space" (Low-Intent / Spam)
Explicitly state who you do not serve or what constitutes a bad lead. This helps the AI filter out noise confidently.
Example: "We are B2B only. Anyone asking for personal, residential, or individual consumer services should be flagged as irrelevant or low-intent. Job seekers should also be flagged as low-intent."
Include Synonyms for Core Services
Customers don't always use your exact trademarked product names. If you sell a product called "COMPLIANCETrack," tell the AI that users asking for "compliance help," "credentialing," or "regulatory training" are looking for this product.
2. Mastering Form Context
While Business Context covers your whole company, Form Context tells the AI what to expect from a specific web form.
State the Form's Primary Purpose
Is this a "Contact Sales" form, a "Support Ticketing" form, or a "Newsletter Signup"? The AI needs to know the baseline expectation to judge if a submission belongs there.
Address "Cross-Contamination"
Users frequently fill out the wrong forms. Tell the AI how to handle this.
Example for a Sales Form: "This form is for new business inquiries. If an existing customer uses this form to ask for technical support, classify them as 'Existing Customer' or 'Irrelevant' so they don't get mixed into the sales pipeline."
Provide Context for Vague Inputs
Sometimes users leave short, vague messages like "need help logging in." Tell the AI how to interpret these based on the form's location.
Example: "If they are asking about logins on the main contact form, treat them as a Legitimate existing customer."
